About
My name is Courtney Nestor
Non-Profit Founder, Veteran, Military Spouse, Mom to 5 Military Brats
I am a proud Norwich University Graduate, commissioned as a Signal Officer in 2002. I served for 5 years and spent two combat tours in Iraq. I am married to my college sweetheart, who is still serving on active duty.
Why:
When my family arrived at Moffett Field, Mountain View, CA I quickly saw what was missing—no central hub, no family programs, and no real way to connect with other military-affiliated personnel. Yet thousands of military service members, families, retired military, and veterans live here, scattered across the Bay Area.
I started this network to change that. Our mission is simple: bring military-connected members together, share resources, and build the kind of supportive community that doesn’t exist here but is so badly needed.

Why we exist
Unlike many military installations across the country, those stationed in the Bay Area are located in a high-cost, tech-driven region with few traditional support structures for military. That gap can leave them and their families feeling isolated or underserved. We exist to change that—by offering tailored support, building community, and advocating for those who serve or have served.
